🌍 SUNRISE at SSbD25 Conference in Zurich
Our partners presented oral talks, posters, and panel sessions showcasing innovative Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) solutions across Europe.

🛠 Co-Creation Workshop
On 26 February 2025, experts and stakeholders collaborated to develop the IIAA framework, balancing safety, sustainability, and innovation. Surveys and interviews will continue to broaden stakeholder input.

💬 Consortium Meeting in Sofia
From 25–27 March 2025, SUNRISE partners discussed work package progress, stakeholder engagement, and integrating SSbD principles, strengthening cross-disciplinary collaboration.

📚 Resources & Training
SSbD Workshop materials and Venice Training School recordings are now publicly available. Explore presentations, case studies, and hands-on sessions on functional, safe, and sustainable advanced materials.

📊 Work Package Updates
WP4 launched stakeholder panels and co-creation workshops to define safety-sustainability trade-offs. WP5 published research on TiO₂ nanoparticles functionalized with lipopeptides, offering a safe-and-sustainable-by-design pathway for next-generation sunscreens.
